Virginia Tech finished the 2015-16 season with an overall record
of 20-15. The Hokies finished in a seventh place tie in the ACC with
a 10-8 record. In the NIT, the Hokies lost in the second round to
the Miami Hurricanes.
This season Virginia Tech will host the
now #5 Duke Blue Devils on New Year's Eve, #23 Notre Dame on January
14th and #14 Virginia on February 1st. ACC road games against ranked
opponents include visits to #7 North Carolina on January 26th, #14
Virginia on February 1st and #11 Louisville on February 18th.
Other conference
games include Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Clemson, Florida State,
Miami, NC State, Boston College and Wake Forest.
The
Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament will be held March 7 through
March 11 at the Barclays Center in New York City.
