The 2015-16 Creighton Bluejays basketball team ended the season
with an overall record of 20-15 and a 9-9 mark in the Big East
Conference. In the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament they
were beaten by Seton Hall. Creighton received a #4 seed in the NIT
Tournament where they made it to the quarterfinals by defeating
Alabama and Wagner before falling to BYU.
The Bluejays will
compete in the Paradise Jam Tournament November 18 through 21, held
at St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. The first opponent is
Washington State, November 18th, their next foe will be the winner
of the Montana and NC State game. The championship is on November
21st.
Creighton will play #3 Villanova on New Year's Eve at
home and February 25th at Villanova. They also have a home-and-home
against #8 Xavier, January 16th in Cincinnati and February 4th at
home.
Other conference foes include Georgetown, Seton Hall,
Providence, Marquette, St. John's and Butler.
The
Big East Conference Tournament will be held March 8 through
March 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
