The Indiana Hoosiers finished as champions of the Big Ten
Conference in the 2015-16 season with a record of 15-3, their
overall record was 27-8. The Hoosiers lost to Michigan in the
Quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament. Indiana received the
NCAA Tournament's East Regional #5 seed and won two games before
falling to North Carolina in the Sweet 16, 101-86.
Highlights
of this year's schedule include a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii to play
#2 Kansas in the Armed Forces Classic, November 11th. They will also
host #6 North Carolina in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Indiana will
also play #14 Louisville, December 31 in Indianapolis.
Dates
with ranked Big Ten Conference foes include: #10 Wisconsin, January
3rd at home and February 5th in Madison, #15 Purdue, February 9th at
home and February 28th in West Lafayette, #21 Maryland at College
Park, January 10th and #9 Michigan State, January 21st at home.
Other conference foes include Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan,
Northwestern, Penn State, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota and Rutgers.
The
Big Ten Conference Tournament will be held March 8 through
March 12 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
