Brochures are documents usually printed on paper that
contain information about a business or service and are
usually used for advertising purposes. Brochures can also be
distributed in electronic format such as PDF (portable
document format) or Word files.
Different printed
types of brochures include tri-fold which creates a six
panel document and can be printed on letter size, legal size
and tabloid size paper. Other folding arrangements include
z-folding and multiple sheet documents called booklets.
Booklets are usually bound with saddle-stitching and result
in multiple panels.
If you are printing large
quantities of brochures, the most common method is offset
printing. For smaller quantities, brochures can be printed
on color inkjet or laser printers.
