The Wisconsin Badgers finished 2015-16 with an overall record of
22-13 and finished in a four-way tie for 3rd place in the Big Ten
Conference regular season standings at 12-6. They lost to Nebraska
in the second round of the Big Ten Tourney. The Badgers lost to
Notre Dame in the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament.
This
season, Wisconsin will travel to Omaha, Nebraska to face # Creighton
on November 15th. The Badgers will also be a participant in the 2016
Maui Invitational November 21st through 23rd where possible
opponents include #5 Oregon, #16 UConn and #6 North Carolina. They
will also play #17 Syracuse in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on November
29th.
Ranked Big Ten opponents include: # Indiana, January
3rd in Bloomington and February 5th at home, #15 Purdue, January 8th
in West Lafayette, #21 Maryland at home on February 19th and at #9
Michigan State either February 25th or 26th.
Other conference foes include Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan,
Northwestern, Penn State, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota and Rutgers.
The
Big Ten Conference Tournament will be held March 8 through
March 12 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
