The Maryland Terrapins finished the 2015-16 season with an
overall record of 27-9 and a 12-6 Big Ten record finishing tied for
3rd place with three other teams. The Terps lost to Michigan State
in the Semi-Finals of the Big Ten Tournament. In the NCAA Tournament
they lost in the Sweet Sixteen to Kansas after defeating South
Dakota State and Hawaii, they were a 5 seed in the South Region.
This season, Maryland will play in the Barclays Classic in
Brooklyn, NY on November 25th and 26th and will face Pittsburgh,
November 29th in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
Games against
ranked Big Ten Conference teams include: at home against #12 Indiana
on January 10th, #15 Purdue on February 4th and #9 Michigan State on
March 5th and will visit #10 Wisconsin on February 19th.
Other conference opponents include Iowa, Ohio State, Michigan,
Northwestern, Penn State, Nebraska, Illinois, Minnesota and Rutgers.
The
Big Ten Conference Tournament will be held March 8 through
March 12 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.
