The Cincinnati Bearcats basketball team finished the 2015-16
season with a record of 22-11. They tied for third place in the
American Conference standings with a 12-6 conference record. The
Bearcats earned a #9 seed in the NCAA Tournament's West Regional.
Cincinnati lost a heart-breaking game in the first round to Saint
Joseph's.
This season, the Bearcats will participate in the
Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Tip-Off and will play Brown in Fifth
Third Arena. A home game with 8th ranked Xavier will be played on
January 26th. Cincinnati will also play a home and home conference
schedule against 16th ranked Connecticut, February 4th at home
andthe season finale March 5th at Storrs, Connecticut.
Other conference
foes include Temple, Southern Methodist, Houston, and Memphis.
The American Athletic Conference Tournament runs from Thursday,
March 9 through Sunday, March 12 in Hartford, Connecticut at the XL
Center.
